Whether it’s navigating executives or positioning in the board room, dealing with complex negotiations or closing big deals, or dealing with managers or employee challenges, you require a high level ability to influence. How can you leverage the power dynamics, relationships and coalitions that exist internally and externally? Being able to accelerate impact and inspire people to buy into an aligned strategy or decision, build a cohesive culture, change direction or agree to contract terms, requires grit, determination and perseverance. The greater the uncertainty, sense of urgency and complexity, the more a leader requires decisiveness, clarity and situational awareness. Leadership resides in action rather than position, questions rather than answers and more we than me.
