Applications close Sunday 12th December 2021

Speakers Institute Corporate (SIC) is pleased to announce the 2022 SIC Facilitator Accelerator Program. The program has been designed to raise the level of our current facilitators and uncover, train and prepare the next lead facilitators who can deliver a multi-day program and key one day intensives for SIC both online and in-person.

We are looking for people who love working in a team environment, are passionate about inspiring great leaders, can demonstrate effective online presentation and have a corporate training background in one or more areas of communication, leadership, wellbeing and organisational design.

SIC is offering up to 6 scholarships worth over US$5,000 each, for the second intake commencing in January 2022. Scholarships are available for current SIC facilitators, emerging Speakers Institute facilitators and external facilitators who can demonstrate corporate experience as a facilitator and or employee.

Speakers Institute Corporate inspires great leaders by solving ineffective communication and decision making. We deliver online and in person bespoke corporate programs, coaching, consultancy and keynote solutions in Communication, Leadership, Wellbeing and Organisational Design for current and emerging leaders, from SME to Fortune 100 Companies.

Our unique training model brings together a world-class curriculum, qualified coaches and expert facilitators. Delivered globally, the Speakers Institute Corporate difference is our broad range of specialties and experience, agile innovation, high level of individual feedback, and human-centric, heart centred approach.

The Speakers Institute Corporate offices are based in Sydney and Canberra, and we have a global team of 30 dedicated specialists and staff based in Australia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand and India. We pride ourselves on the diversity of thought, perspective and experience of our team who deliver global programs and services for companies such as IBM, EY, Qantas, HP and Canon. Our team has experience in a wide range of industries including technology, finance, real estate, insurance, transport, engineering, energy, education, tourism, fashion, local and federal government, and sport.

A Lead Facilitator (Band 3-6) is at a level where a facilitator can lead short multi-day or bootcamp programs as well as deliver one day intensives for SIC, without guidance, both online and in-person.

They are able to deliver base (Authority Communication Framework, Pitch, Achieving Clarity and any specific areas of expertise), general (non-verbals, first impressions, performance state, new belief) and program (storyshowing, data visualisation, storytelling and C-Suite Insights) SIC communication content or specific curriculum in leadership, wellbeing and organisational design.

During Multi-day or bootcamp programs, a Lead Facilitator sets the commander’s intent for the whole program, facilitates a majority of content sections, manages the team and ensures the intention of the program is delivered effectively.

The SIC Facilitator Accelerator Program is a blended learning program that involves self-paced learning, observations of current facilitating teams working with our corporate clients, intense training and feedback on live facilitation for SIC.

Demian Coorey, Jessica Kiely and Craig Johns will be leading the program, with support from other experienced facilitators.

Special facilitator training videos will cover an introduction to the DNA of SIC, understanding working with corporate clientele, key differences between facilitating to corporate vs consumer, and how to provide effective feedback and what to look for.

Modules with facilitator manuals and best practice videos of key curriculum sections and more will be provided to scholarship recipients.

Training time will allow practice delivery of curriculum sections, coach feedback observations, co-facilitation in mock programs and feedback on live facilitating of curriculum in SIC Programs.

The SIC Facilitator Accelerator Program will not be easy, in fact it will be very challenging. Depending on your background and experience as a facilitator, it will require an average of 2hrs of your time per week, for 3-6 months. The length of the program will be determined by the learning requirements of each person selected and how quickly they can reach the standards required to become either a SIC facilitator or lead facilitator.

It has been designed and curated to put you under pressure, with strong feedback to help you step up to the world class standards we strive for at SIC. We want the best of the best representing SIC, around the globe, as we work with some of the largest and most successful multinational companies in the world, such as IBM and EY.

Only apply if you aspire to be a world class facilitator who is willing to put the time, dedication and effort into what it takes to inspire great leaders from the world’s largest and most successful companies. It is important to note that by completing the SIC Facilitator Accelerator Program, it does not guarantee that you will become a SIC Lead Facilitator.

The program is designed to fast track your skills as a facilitator so that you have the base skills and understand what it takes to become a successful SIC Lead Facilitator in the future. Demonstration of competent delivery of content and Lead Facilitator roles and responsibilities will be required for you to be considered a SIC Lead Facilitator.

By completing this program you will greatly enhance your opportunities to get more consistent SIC work, receive higher pay rates and from a professional development point of view have greater facilitation skills that you can use anywhere, not just SIC. (Please note that use of SIC/SI content is subject to your SIC Facilitator Independent Contractor Agreement)

As SIC continues to grow and expand its global reach, we are focused on increasing our capability in:

  • Leadership and Wellbeing
  • Experienced Lead Facilitators
  • Diversity of thought, perspective and experience
  • In-person delivery around the world (e.g: Singapore, India, Middle East, Europe)
